Wailea Beach is located on Maui’s South shore. Widely considered the best beach in Wailea, it is the largest and is bordered by the Grand Wailea Resort and the Wailea Four Seasons Resort.
Wailea Beach is a picture perfect Maui beach, with a wide stretch of perfect golden sand and turquoise-blue Ocean. It’s an ideal location for all kinds of beach activities – stand up paddle boarding in the early morning, snorkeling, boogie boarding, body surfing, and swimming. You’ll get awesome views of the islands of Kaho’olawe, Molokini, and Lana’i. There’s also a nice little grassy knoll which you can relax on if you get tired of the sand.
Although beautiful, visitors should note that with its proximity to the resorts this beach is typically very crowded. Thankfully, it’s a large beach and even with a big crowd you won’t feel too claustrophobic.
